⚡️ How to secure your card in Telegram

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The crypto card works through Telegram @OnCardsBot, which serves as an interface for managing, replenishing and monitoring the balance. For contactless payments, the card connects to the NFC module on your smartphone.

Telegram is convenient, but it is important to take care of security and peace of mind in advance.

If you lose access to Telegram:

  • You will only be able to use the remaining funds on the card.

  • You will no longer be able to replenish the balance.

  • You may need to reissue the card

If someone else gains access to your Telegram:

  • They will be able to replenish the card.

  • Link it to your NFC.

  • Pay with a card.

To keep everything under control, we recommend:

  • Enable “Cloud Password” in Telegram (two-factor authentication).

  • Do not store confidential information in messengers, including chats with yourself (“Favorites”), notes, and forwarded messages. This data is stored on servers and may be compromised.

  • Do not use this Telegram account for communication (even with loved ones) or connecting to questionable bots, groups, and channels to protect yourself from accidentally clicking on phishing links and downloading virus files.

  • Use a separate Telegram account that will not be used for communication or subscribing to information groups (you can use multiple accounts simultaneously in the Telegram app).

Important: the user is solely responsible for the security of funds on the card. We recommend not keeping large amounts on the balance and using the card mainly for everyday expenses.

If a card reissue is required at your initiative, the service will be paid.
